My mom used to tell me that babies came from watermelons.

So for the longest time I believed that if you cut open a watermelon, a baby would come out.

My cousin used to tell me that he had "fire eyes".

He said that normally his eyes looked like regular eyes, but sometimes – really quickly – they would start burning red. Apparently they burned so quickly that you could only ever see them by snapping a photo at the right time.

I didn't believe him until he showed me a picture and his eyes were red. Young Trent was terrified.
